Web Application Testing
PDF Print E-mail

Web sites face many threats to the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of the data used and the functionality provided by the application. The threats range from malicious users to anonymous attackers, each with varying levels of skill. An insecure web application may expose customers' personal information, financial information, passwords, or lead to fraudulent transactions. For many web applications, the result of identity theft or fraudulent activity impacts has financial and legal impact for the application owner.

ITSE's application security audit will provide a report on the effectiveness of the security controls that are put in place in applications. A report will be produced to also provide remediation advice for those items discovered along with a detailed explanation. Once the vulnerabilities are fixed, a follow-up test will be carried out to ensure that all the vulnerabilities originally found are fixed.

ITSE's dedicated and qualified security experts will thoroughly assess applications, from both a technical and non-technical perspective, to determine security weaknesses. The result is a detailed report of findings and specific recommendations for remediating any vulnerability found.
